New Law College,the beginning of Law education

From its establishment at the hands of then Chief Justice of India in 1978, Bharati Vidyapeeth University’s New Law College is a front runner classified for imparting the knowledge amongst aspiring law enthusiasts. Under the supervision of Prof Dr Mukund Bhagirath Sarda, the institute has pioneered in offering quality legal education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, such as,

New Law College : Short Term Courses & Summmer Programme In English & Law



A propose the Course :
Innovation and excellence never ends at New law College. Recently, MoU was signed between BVDU NLC Pune and School of Law, University of Reading, UK by virtue of which both the institutes decided to hold several joint programmes as well as couple of other academic programmes. To accelerate the pace of collaboration and to implements the MoU in actual spirit, several delegates form University of Reading visited our institute. This visit proved vital to both the institutes and a move to hold joint programmes was initiated. As a result Joint L.L. M programs and Summer Programme in English & Law is designed so that students can avail the benefit of the collaboration.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University New Law College, Pune is proud to be associated with the University of Reading to begin this summer school which will carve new paths of excellence on the canvass of legal education.


Course benefits : 
The Summer School will involve visits from lawyers and visits to law firms or courts, as well as sightseeing trips to a variety of places including London, Cambridge and Oxford.

Who will be teaching you and how?
Lecturers will include staff from the School of Law and the International Study and Language Centre whose research and practice in these areas makes them experts in the subjects taught. Teaching will be largely classroom-based and students will have the opportunity to experience not only the legal theory underpinning the modules taught but also the practical applications.

BHARATI VIDYAPEETH DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY, NEW LAW COLLEGE PUNE



Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, New Law College, Pune established in 1978, is the premier institute of international excellence in the field of legal education. It is one of the constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune, recognized by Bar Council of India & University Grant Commission.The College affiliation is approved by Bar Council of India through Letter No. BCI-D-1029,(2009(1-E.Mtg) Dated 7/7/2009.
The college is also recognized under 2f & 12b of UGC Act 1956. The college is Re-Accreditated with “A” Grade by National Assessment & Accreditation Council.The college was inaugurated in the year 1978 at the hands of Hon. Mr. Justice Y.V. Chandrachud the then Chief Justice of India. The foundation stone of the New Law College building was laid down in the year 2004 at the hands of the Chief Justice of India Hon. Mr. Justice K.G. Balakrishnan, the then judge Supreme Court of India. The new building of the law college was inaugurated in the year 2005 at the hands of Hon. Mr. Justice R.C. Lahoti, the then Chief Justice of India.
